Build The New To Make The Old Obsolete ..

Updated: Aug 10, 2018

Like so many women all around the world, as the rising feminine takes on more responsibility for rebalancing things, I struggle endlessly with sometimes overwhelmingly powerful feelings of pain, frustration and anger at the often terrible injustices and cruelties in the world, at the depth of the disconnect that gives rise to these conditions.

It's so easy to fall back into feelings of powerlessness and hopelessness in the face of such a relentless tide of horror stories and become divided in our (old world-view) opinions.

In that space, isn't our feminine power and creativity stymied?

Our will to keep struggling to rise up under the weight of so much suffering and lead the way into a new era battered down?

Our belief that something new is even possible crushed?

Our energy to find common ground in the tidal wave of discord unravelled?

Our natural feminine cooperativeness and 'collaberativeness' knocked off course? Mustn't we keep reconnecting - to our own hearts; to our faith in what we really can achieve together; to the love and support of our peers; to our best values and our most powerful collective vision for a better, more connected humanity.

I have to continually work at reminding myself of this great (as I see it) truth, in order to rise above the distractions:

You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. (Buckminster Fuller - apparently!)

With love,

Trish Brennan
